A LITTLE CONTEXT

Know what the
numbers mean.

A good plan starts with knowing what a calculator can—and cannot—tell you.

Does a 90% chance guarantee a pet?

No. A probability threshold describes a chance of at least one success, not a guarantee. The hatch model assumes independent attempts with a constant probability. Pity systems and dynamic odds need a different model.

Can I calculate without game database records?

Yes. Custom Calculator uses your own probability, costs and income, labeled User-provided Inputs. These are assumptions, not official game values. Game Database requires reviewed evidence, a game version and a check date; unavailable game values remain Not verified.

How is payback time calculated?

Simple payback compares the extra Coins earned per second with the net Coin investment. It ignores risk, uptime, opportunity costs, and unverified mechanics. In Custom Calculator, an entered one-time refund is your assumption. Game Database only includes explicitly selected, verified Coin refunds.

Can luck, weight, or Speed change a result?

Only supported effects with current evidence can affect real calculations. Custom luck scenarios are marked as estimates. Unverified weight corrections stay disabled, and Speed is never silently converted into Coins.

How are values updated?

Data is reviewed, versioned, validated, and deployed with the site. A data update needs a new deployment; the site does not claim live game prices. Each available source includes its check date.
